I just returned from Venice where we spent the Thanksgiving holiday.We took a water taxi for 4 of us and it was at least 125 Euros.We also needed help getting our bags from the taxi to the airport (and vice versa and I know that we had to pay 25 Euros for 4 large bags and maybe a handbag or so.I do not think they will put 9 people in one taxi with luggage.It is too much.enice is beautiful and very expensive.As for travel to your hotel, I think the water taxi is the only civilized way to get there. Enjoy. We just did this on Thursday. The bus from Piazzale Roma to Marco Polo airport is only 2 EUR.ou can walk with your luggage to the nearest Vaporetto (water bus stop from your hotel and take the Vaporetto to Piazzale Roma for 5 EUR, for a total of 7 EUR per person.t would be much cheaper than taking the expensive water taxis.
