ITALY Readers's Tips - Jolly Roger clean, Americanlike and reasonably prices

I can't find a "Jolly Roger" in Siena, Syrock, but there is a "Jolly Hotel" that's a bit out of our price range.s that the one you mean I'm leaving NYC(JFK on 11/21 till 12/2 for Venice, Padua, Florence, Pompeii, Rome, Sorrento and Tuscany with a oneday side trip to Capri.Wondering about the weather and the following hotels.Grand Hotel Principe in Venice for 2 days, Grand Hotel Cavour in Florence, the Palatino HOtel in Rome and last the Central Hotel in Sorrento.Any info will be greatly appreciated, especially the weather factor.

Can't imagine what you will do in Sorrento or Capri that time of year.Once you have seen Pompeii I guess you could do the archeological musuem in naples. But the Amalfi coast and Capri will be like any beach resorts in the winter chilly, damp, perhaps raining and with many places closed for the season. This weather isn't so bad for the cities you have the advantage of fewer crowds but don;t understand doing the countryside or beach then.
