ITALY Readers's Tips - Star ratings in Europe are not the same as in the US.For example, a hotel might rate a 3* rating because it has an elevator. I can't give you specific hotel recommendations, but suggest you try www.nere.m which is a pretty good site for hotel shopping.Hopefully, you will find a hotel to your liking in your price range. We liked the Ponte Sisto a lot though I'm not sure of the rates now, but I'd check. Not sure if you've left yet but try any of these: Hotel Aberdeen, Oceania Hotel andamp; Hotel Cortina.These are all three stars and I think have all been mentioned at some point in Rick Steve's books.Just stayed at Hotel Cortina for two days and is was fine.It's not new as we are often accustomed to here but it was very clean, the bathroom/shower was good sized and they were very nice.

I highly recommend Daphne Inn Venetothey are awesome
