Hi, I have been doing a lot of research and want to plan our first trip to Italy in the next week or so.y GF and I are planning on going for 1214 days (no tour andamp; not including arrival date.e want to visit Venice, Florence, a vinyard in Tuscany, Rome andamp; possibly the Almafi Coast.e are thinking of flying into Venice and then traveling down to Florence, down to a vineyard, to ROME andamp; then possibly to the Almafi Coast to relax before flying back to NY. 1any input on if those are too many places to visit on a 1214 day trip 2Any recommendations on a must see vineyard to visit in Tuscany 3Any other suggestions/ideas would be greatly appreciated. Go for it, something like 3 nights V. 5 nights F.hich includes 1 daytour to Siena and 1 daytour Tuscany vineyard and maybe Pisa / then off to Rome and play it by ear from there.ou can take a oneday tour to Pompeii and Amalfi, it's a long day but you don't have to drive and you snooze on the way back. Or if Rome keeps you too busy to go south, leave it for another trip. Read the recent thread on this same board "Wineries in Tuscany". Save time and money by making it an "openjaw" ticket fly into Venice and out of Rome.
