Has anyone traveled with Trafalgar tours to Italy.We are planning a to go to Italy either Spring of 07 or Fall of 07 and are looking at Perillo and Trafalgar tours.Also, Affordable tours has discounts.Has anyone used them Thanks. We took a Trafalgar tour of Italy about nine years ago. Well done, but be aware that hotels may not be centrally located.n Rome, we were 30 minutes outside of town, and in Venice, we were actually in Maestre.ig difference.ut they offer quite a bit for the money. Perillo is much more upscale and the price reflects that. Good luck

Don;t know about Trafalger but friends of my parents tok Perillo and were very disappointed.otels were in poor locations (and two were substituted after the tour began one from Venice to MESTRE and the food was awful.hese are seniors who often do tours so they don't have to deal with luggage and had alway been happy with the compromises of any tour but had always before used Tauck.hey said Perillo was like a Kia vs a BMW. I would encourage you to find out where the hotels are and if they reserve the right to change them at any time (they probably do.lso check to see how many mels they make you pay for versus being able to eat on your own (my parents gave up on the tour food except breakfast after 2 days and organized all their own meals in effect paying twice.
