Thanks, Michael.hen I checked Trenetalia., it showed that Florence to La Spezia was a 2hour train ride, and I read that La Spezia to Cinque Terre is half an hour.o one of my plans was to go from Florence to CT, spend the night in CT, and go to Rome from La Spezia the next day (4 hour train.y Rick Steves' guide recommended 2 nights for CT so I thought 1day/1night might just make the cut.ince I don't know when I'll be back in Italy (as I have lots of other countries on my list, I'm hoping to fit CT into this trip.
