Hi RD, Parking at Piazzale Roma, just at the entrance to Venice, is about 20E/day. You can park at the train station in Mestre for about 8E/day. There are numerous trains all day between Mestre and Venice San Lucia. Hello again. Is one full day enough time to see Lucca I'm definitely planning to visit, but not sure how much there is to do. As Suzy K.uggested in another post, I may take a train there from Florence.ill probably go in the late afternoon, spend the night, then the next whole day before I head down to Siena. Thanks, Moni

We visited Lucca in 2003.Glad we went but I think one day is plenty to see what there is to see inside the walls.We didn't explore the bigger town outside.
