Caper Away Have you read the guest reviews of Hotel Kristi on venere.m http://www.nere.m/hotel/index.phtid7763andamp;ref1217 I went there just to check the location which is pretty far from being central but read the reviews while there.It seems some of the rooms have shared bathrooms, and the hosts seem less than welcoming.WIW If you can find a place closer to the Pantheon/Piazza Navona, but still within your budget, I think you'd be better served. Also, near the Pantheon, there's a market that seemed to serve the locals that might be a good source of foods for picnics in the piazzas.(If your back is to the Patheon, you'd take the side street that veers off to your right diagonally, past a gelateria.
