I am considering a trip to Florence for five days, with an actual return to the States on Christmas Day.Does anyone know if the local attractions, tours, etc.re open and operating at that time of year The week before Xmas should operate normally, but the 24th being a Sunday this year could be very quiet, and places that are normally open on a Sunday may be closed because it is the 24th it will be case by case and I wouldn't trust any schedules posted long ago on the internet or such, so inquire as soon as you get there about any specifics being open or working that day and don't make big plans. The next day you're leaving again, make sure you have your transportation confirmed, do it during the week ahead of time.
