ITALY Readers's Tips - We stayed at the Hotel Calzaiuoli during our August 2005 trip to Italy and it was all we expected (from reviews we found on line and more.The location is central to everything we wanted to see and we felt perfectly safe walking around in the evenings.It was great fun getting that last gelato for the night and watching the street performers not far from the hotel.Even with the central location, noise was not an issue for us streetside on the second story.
