ITALY Readers's Tips - I'm not familiar with this tour company, but the two tours you mention are very easily done on your own.You can take public SITA buses from Florence to Siena and San Gimignano on your own schedule, and Pompeii is very easily reached by the Circumvesuviana commuter train from Naples, where you can rent the great audioguide or hire a licensed guide at the site if you would like to have the ruins explained for you.I'm more of a doityourselfer, but some people prefer to have all the arrangements made for them and have someone walk them around to make sure they don't miss anything (a lot of this info is in guidebooks for those who want to lay their own groundwork.
