Thinking of taking a Med.uise with stops in Italy.s this the best way Want to see Rome and Venice in particular and any thing eles. I think the best way to experience Italy is to get a guidebook, figure out where you are interested in going, flying over there, and spending awhile in each place.I don't think a cruise would be enough time to really appreciate Venice, Rome, or most any other place in Italy.

It is a good way we also did it like that for the first time.e best way to do it and also have more time in Italy is what we did a cruise that began in Civitavecchia and ended in Venice so you can stay some days in Rome before the cruise and some in Venice after.n Italian ports of calls like Livorno, Naples ans Messina hire a private tour so you can see the most in a day and with a local so you can enjoy your day to the fullest We love Italy and we are counting the days left to go back
