My 73yearold father and I will be flying into Marco Polo and then taking the train to Rome.What is the easiest way to get from the airport to the train station Do we take the bus, then walk to the train station How far of a walk is this The only maps I have seen don't give a very clear idea of how to get from the bus station to the train station. Other than paying for a water taxi, is there some sort of transportation (vaporetto, maybe that goes from the airport to the train station Thanks in advance Public buses at Marco Polo will take you right to the train station in Mestre.Ask at Information for the correct bus line.There is no need to go to Venice.Most trains that originate in Venice stop in Mestre, the first city on the mainland.However, when booking your reservation, do make sure your train will stop there.

Our group (6 women plans to take the early morning train from Venice to Pisa on Day 1.When we arrive in Pisa, we will see the tower, the baptistery and the Cathedral.Then we plan to go back to the station, take the train to Luca, stay overnight and spend Day 2 in Luca before catching a late afternoon train to Chiusi.Will we be putting too much into two days I really don't want to miss Luca and I understand that Pisa and Luca are only 30 minutes apart so this seems feasible.
