If I have a choice between visiting the a Galleria Borghese and b one or two of the catacombs, which one should I go for

The Borghese gallery is one the finest small museums anywhere.Be sure to make reservations, since they only allow a certain number of people in the museum at any one time.

When we were in Rome in 2001, we visited both the Borghese and the catacombs (out the Via Appia Antica.We're going back next summer; no catacombs but we will be be reserving 2 visits to the Borghese.his museum is among the top 25 in the world.Apollo and Daphne and Sacred and Profane Love are worth the price of admission.to Italy, not just the Borghese.
